Overview

Please see the Division Age Chart for specific birth years included in the 8U Division. Teams are formed to a size of 6 or 7 players, more if necessary depending on the number of coaches. Generally there will be 1 mid-week practice at a time and location determined by the coach. Teams will play 1 game on Saturdays at various times between 8:00am and 3:00pm and will consist of two 20-minute halves with a 5 minute halftime.

Dates/Times/Location

The 8U division will have games for 10 Saturdays starting the 1st Saturday after Labor Day.  8U Teams have the opportunity to earn volunteer points to meet eligibility for the end-of-the-year Regional Tournament known as the Harry Nunn Jr League Cup.

Uniforms and Equipment

Each player will be provided with a jersey, shorts, and socks. In addition they will need shin guards (required).  Soccer cleats are optional (sturdy athletic shoes are fine). If your child has their own ball it should be a size 3 for this level. Uniforms will be distributed by the coach of each team prior to the first game.
